THE SUPPORT & COMMUNITY YOU NEED AFTER TREATMENT

The alumni program at The PAC Program is a vital part of the goals we have for our clients. The program provides support, community, and guidance for our graduated alumni clients. The program helps individuals stay connected to a support system after they have transitioned back into normal, everyday life.
Alumni clients have the opportunity to meet with our team on a regular basis. They are also contacted on a weekly basis for a brief check-in on their continuing progress, and to address any problems they may be having. Our alumni clients have the opportunity for support with finances, employment, housing, school, and other life skills.
After our clients have completed the The PAC Program program, they are offered the opportunity to attend any and all alumni events. Alumni clients are also invited to any therapeutic groups and outdoor adventure therapy trips at Blueprints. We have experienced great success with the individuals who participate in this group, all of whom have a better chance of success due to the community and supportive environment offered to them.

Weekly Meetings

Staying connected to a support system is vital for people to continue with their sobriety. Blueprints offers two meetings a week for our alumni clients to stay connected. These meetings consist of a brief group check-in and then a fun activity for everyone to participate in. The alumni community also gives our clients the opportunity to meet new sober people in their age group to build friendships.

Monthly Trips

The alumni program also goes on a monthly trip that allows our clients the opportunity to have fun. Together, we’ve gone canyoneering, stayed on overnight trips, and completed obstacle course races. These trips give our alumni clients the opportunity to have fun in sobriety and help establish stronger bonds and friendships with positive people. Having fun in sobriety is crucial to the long-term success for young men. We offer an array of different adventures, so our alumni can see what they are interested in and figure out how to have fun in life without drugs and alcohol.

Educational Support

Education is a very important aspect for our clients’ futures. The alumni program also gives people the opportunity to work with our staff to sign up for school. Signing up for college can be a difficult task without guidance. The alumni coordinator helps the individual set up appointments to meet with an advisor, register for classes, and sign up for different types of financial aid. We would like to see our clients be able to pursue their dreams and have successful lives.
