April is Alcohol Awareness Month

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, also known as the NCADD, deemed April as Alcohol Awareness Month in 1987 with the sole purpose of reducing the stigma of alcohol addiction. This initiative is also meant to encourage the public to learn more about alcohol addiction, treatment, and the road to recovery. Our programs at The PAC Program have been widely regarded as some of the most progressive and results-driven, making us your top choice in Prescott alcohol rehab centers.

As someone suffering from alcoholism, you may feel as though all hope is lost because you cannot imagine your life without alcohol. However, when you have us on your side, you can rest assured you are in the hands of a support system you can rely on for the rest of your life. Alcoholism is a fatal disease if left untreated, and it is one you have much better chances of beating when you enlist our services.

While recovery may seem as though it is out of reach, this doesn’t have to be the case. This year’s Alcohol Awareness Month theme is “Changing Attitudes: It’s not a ‘rite of passage’” and it will be supported by local, state, and national events meant to impact adults and youth alike. With the support of NCADD affiliates such as various schools, colleges, community organizations, and churches, we are confident this public health concern will be thoroughly addressed and confronted.
